This circa 1920's scarab pin is an interesting piece as it combines the styles of two important movements, Victorian Mourning (which was coming to a close) and Egyptian Revival. The body of the scarab is faceted black glass; its wings are black metal. The back features a simple c- clasp. There is slight wear as pictured. Condition woud be considered very good.
