Heavy Solid Piece of Sterling Silver! The centerpiece of this 1940's Mexican Necklace is a deity mask carved from obsidian stone. Plenty of similarly designed pieces were likely put out by various artisans from Mexico City and the famed Taxco region, but no two are exactly alike ~ that's the real beauty of these very collectible handmade works of art.
The chain portion is 22" long. The pendant is a very generous 4" by 1 3/4". Both are marked with the same 925 style stamp on the reverse. In very good condition as pictured. Click on any image to enlarge
