This Ornate Gothic Cross Medallion with Chain is from the House of Fratelli Coppini, Florence Italy. The back is stamped FLLI COPPINI along with a small cartouche, the words MADE IN ITALY, and the silver denotation of 800 absent the lozenge that was introduced in 1934 for silver uniformity hallmarking.
It's chain is 22" long. There may have been a closure which is no longer present and the chain may originally have been longer. However the piece is still an outstanding vintage collectible, absolutely wearable and in very good condition as pictured.
Fratelli Coppini has been in the jewelry business since the 1700's. This particular piece is a Gothic/Renaissance Revivial style from the early part of the 20th century.

A sturdy little piece of exceptional intricate filigree and detail. Marked 800 on the reverse, I believe its origins to be Italian. There is a small lozenge beneath the silver denotation which may have contained a fascio symbol or not, unfortunately, the characters have eroded with time. Approximate age - pre 1945.
On it's back, it features a long pin and closure in good working order. Condition is excellent. Very minute wear to the filigree. Enlarge any of the photos for for a close-up.
